Wallington High School for Girls

'A strong learning community. Pupils are proud of their school. The broad curriculum and high prior attainment of pupils lead to strong achievement.' OFSTED 2019

SEND

At Wallington High School for Girls, all our work is based on the principle of equal opportunity. This principle includes equal entitlement to a broad, balanced curriculum for all of our students.

Our teaching provides for the individual needs of each student, including those with special educational needs. We plan and operate a differentiated curriculum in order to ensure equal access to the curriculum for each student. Partnerships are a vital part of our work with students with SEN. Parents / Carers are involved in all aspects of planning for their daughters. In school, external provision planning is shared with all teachers and the pastoral team. Provision is then monitored and evaluated continuously and improvements actioned where necessary.

In this way, we are confident that Wallington High School for Girls provides the best possible provision for all of our students.

The SENDCO at Wallington High School for Girls is Mrs K Bates and her e-mail is kbates@wallingtongirls.org.uk.
