Key WHSG Admissions Information

Wallington High School for Girls has an excellent academic reputation and we also provide first class care, guidance, support and development so that everyone enjoys a positive experience during their time at the school and leaves well prepared for life beyond.

We are ambitious for our students and want them to leave prepared to contribute to the world - our school motto "Heirs of the Past, Makers of the Future" reflects this.  Our school is a happy, positive place to study and we benefit from a multi-cultural community which brings a rich diversity to the school.

Our excellent recent results reflect the superb care and teaching we provide our students; In 2021 and 2022, WHSG’s exams results were the best in Sutton borough, resulting in WHSG being ranked the 5th best Girls' state secondary school in England for GCSE results, according to the Times 2022.

Students who attend WHSG have a huge sense of pride and belonging in our school. Our students are provided with many extra-curricular activities and opportunities to develop into well-rounded individuals and to foster a happy culture. We encourage all students to participate in at least one sport after school and we also run 5 days annually when all students are off timetable to undertake activities to encourage a deeper understanding of their learning, introduce new topics or develop inter-personal skills.
